Join us at one of our gatherings!

One of the best ways to get to know us and learn more about Jesus, is to join us for one of our gatherings.

We are one church, with multiple gatherings across two sites, and we'd love to welcome you to any of these gatherings. They're at 8 am (Water St), 9:30 am (Pearces Corner), 10:30 am (Water St) and 6 pm (Water St) each Sunday, and 10 am (Pearces Corner) on Wednesdays.

  • 8 am is a traditional service, which features words and prayers from the Anglican prayer book. It's really easy to follow along.
  • 9:30 am and 10:30 am are identical all-age gatherings. There's contemporary music and programs for kids who are younger than school age all the way through to year 9.
  • 6 pm Night Church is a contemporary service where anyone is welcome - that's where high schoolers in years 10-12 are encouraged to go.

Every service is based around the Bible, and what it tells us about living life with Jesus as Lord. Each service contains, among other things, songs, prayers and Bible reading (you can access the Bible for free here), and a sermon on the Bible text.

We'd love to see you at any of our gatherings. Please get in contact if you would like to let us know you're coming so we can look out for you, or if you have any questions.

FAQs

When should I arrive?

A good time to arrive is about 10 minutes before the service. You might find the band or organist still practicing!

What should I wear?

People who come to our gatherings generally wear the kinds of clothes they might wear if they're going out for a casual lunch, but you can wear whatever you like.

What will I be asked to do?

In all our services, we often have parts of the service where everyone can join in - like songs or prayers that we say together. All the words you need will either be on a screen or on printed paper you'll be given. You'll not be asked to read or pray (or sing!) aloud on your own - the participatory bits are with everyone together, and you don't have to participate if you don't want to!

What will happen when I get there?

When you arrive, someone will greet you at the door and help you with a nametag, hand you a few pieces of paper that will come in handy during the service, and help you find a seat. If you've come to our 9:30 or 10:30 gatherings and you've got kids with you, someone will ask you to register them for the relevant kids or youth program (if they want to go!) to save time later. But everyone starts in the main service all together, before the kids and youth go out later.
