We would love to welcome you to our classes if you’d like help with learning English and would like to meet others from our community who are also learning.

We have two classes each week during term times:

Tuesdays, 10 am - 12 noon at Water Street

(restarts for term 4 on October 10th)

Thursdays, 10 am - 12 noon at Pearces Corner

(restarts for term 4 on October 12th)

What happens at a class?

On a regular week, you will meet some trained and friendly teachers, who will help you improve both conversational and written English. The classes stop for morning tea together. There is often a Bible spot, where you learn something from the Bible written in English. Sometimes, there are excursions, shared meals or special activities (for instance, at Christmas).

How much does it cost?

Classes are free, and so is morning tea!

Who can come?

Anyone who would like to improve their English is welcome! We would love to meet you!
