Join us this Easter!
Easter is a strange holiday. Four days off is nice, but it’s all very low key - Christmas seems much more appealing. Maybe it’s because Easter seems to be all about death. So we invent a chocolate egg-laying bunny to distract us! Death or chocolate? It is an obvious choice!
Or is it? Because when we wake from our chocolate coma, we wake to a world where death is all too present and sometimes gets far too close.
Look again at the Easter story – this is God’s answer to death! Easter’s all about Jesus - who laid down his life for us, only then to take it back again; because it was impossible for death to hold him.

easter eggstravaganza
A fun afternoon for all ages! On Saturday 5th April from 2-4pm at Water Street we will be celebrating Easter with a jumping castle, animals, magic show, 'egg-venture' trail, face painting, food, crafts, a puppet show and games! Bring the family along - all welcome!
hymns & hot cross buns
Join us at Pearces Corner for a service of reflection and celebration through hymns and Bible readings, followed by an Easter afternoon tea. Sunday 13th April at 2pm. We would love to see you there!

FRIDAY, 18th april (GOOD FRIDAY)
Meet the person of Jesus through looking at the Bible's account of his death and how he brings forgiveness, joy and hope to our lives and our world.
We'll be looking at this topic at special times on Good Friday:
- 8 am traditional Prayer Book service at Pearces Corner
- 10 am interactive all-age service at Water Street.
SUNDAY, 20th april (EASTER DAY)
On Easter Sunday we will be celebrating life through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Jesus is alive and you can meet him and know him as your saviour. A wonderful truth to celebrate!
We'll be looking at this topic at each of our regular Sunday gatherings.
